Whitstable Sea Wall

Beyond Number 67

Whitstable is a traditional English seaside town made famous by its (still thriving) oyster industry. Latterly it has become better known as a bolthole for Londoners escaping the ‘big smoke’ only 60 miles away. Why do people come here? Its mix of leisure activities including sailing, windsurfing, swimming and tennis are certainly an attraction … as are its beach, restaurants, pubs and bohemian feel.  We suspect however, its because Whitstable reminds those who come of a time when life was l little less hectic.

If you are interested in booking sailing, windsurfing, tennis lessons or a restaurant table please let us know and we’ll be happy to help.
